Range of bridal shower invitations to choose from

February 22nd, 2010

You can choose really unique bridal shower invitations for this lovely event. You must make sure to select and send these invitations at least a week before the event so that visitors can plan and attend the event properly. You can give these invitations the close friends and relatives of the bride so that she gets a chance to interact with each and every one of them at the party before the wedding. You can also make the close ones from the bridegroom’s side to get to know the bride in a better way. You can intimate the gests regarding the date, time and venue of the function.

You can invite people close to you by sending rehearsal dinner invitations . The invitation must be sent in advance so that there is no confusion on the guests’ part to find the venue etc. In this way they can be present at the rehearsal dinner and familiarize themselves with the proceedings and guests on the boy as well as the girl’s side. You can choose invitations according to the theme of the bridal shower. Guests can also be instructed to buy gifts or other items accordingly. You can also include a map or direction with the invitation that can allow the guests to reach the venue easily and on time.

Purim Themed Bat Mitzvah Invitations

January 30th, 2010

When people think of Halloween they think of scary masks and collecting candy and dressing up in funny costumes and going around trick-or-treating.  However, when Jewish people think of Halloween, they also think of Purim.  Purim is a Jewish holiday.  It is basically the equivalent of Halloween in American culture.  On Purim, people go to temple dressed in funny outfits, like turtles and animals and scary monsters and such.  There is a service, but it is light and fun and the Rabbi throws candy out into the audience.  There are very few other holidays on the Jewish calendar that are as fun and easygoing as this one.  If your bat mitzvah falls near the holiday of Purim, why not have a Purim themed bat mitzvah.  A common theme of Purim is masks, so why not provide every one of your guests with a Purim mask and have them wear them throughout the party.  You could have small cannons in the corners of the room and have them shoot candies out randomly.  Just make sure that these are soft candies, you don’t want anybody getting hurt.  The party invites for a Purim themed bat mitzvah party could be very fun and festive.  If you can find Purim cards in Hebrew, those might be fun to try and convert into bat mitzvah invitations.  If not, you might consider looking for a custom card maker to make you your very own Purim themed bat mitzvah invitations.  However you decide to make your invitations, this is sure to be a fun combination of these two events.
